The grating machine uses a high-speed rotating drum or plate with an abrasive, perforated surface to pulverize crops into a consistent mash or fine shreds. Powered by a robust petrol engine, this unit offers complete mobility and high torque, making it ideal for processing where electrical access is unreliable. When cassava, sweet potatoes, or Irish potatoes are pressed against the moving grater, their fibres are quickly broken down for starch extraction or flour production.
